Manual Steering Gear?

Are there any manual steering gears that will bolt into a 1985 D150? Will one from a 1972 D-100 bolt in?

Did the frames change between the 1972-1979 frames and the 1980-1989 frames that would keep the steering box from swapping?

It should bolt on the same I used a 78 in my 83
