Hi gona bag and lower my 68 d200 bb anybody raised the engine-trany its a big gap betwen the tunnel and gear box the problem on all of this style trucks is when you lower the front whid flipt axel the oil pan hits the axel its like 4-5" of clearence in the tunnel

So problems can be created with engine clearance and dragging the frame while going down country roads. The same affect can be achieved by installing tractor tires and wire rope steps. Guess I am just to old for either case.

If you are serious about lowering your truck, your straight axle is NOT the answer. Section in a brand x subframe and get something you can still drive.
