Installing new wing window gaskets - almost.

I have the gaskets figured out, and the top hinge removal. I can not figure the bottom swivel hinge post removal. I do not want to take the easy way and slit the new seals, the O.E.M seals are not slit. How do I free that post to set the new gaskets Please? Thanks, christev1

If it a Dodge unscrew the pivot from the glass.

What's the difference on these between 86-down and 87-up? I know that they sell different gaskets for them
And will an 87- up wing window and frame assembly fit an 86-older door and vise versa

Going to check and see what we can find. I knew there was a different in the radiator core supports.
For size of seal we were not aware the glass changed. Could be the seal shape changed.

LMC list 78-86 @ $41.95
87-93@ $94.95
So is $53.00 the only difference?
Couldn't find a listing for the wing glass it's self. But the door glass list the same from 73-93. Window channel kits changed between 79&80.
Someone should know what the wing seal change is at LMC as that department is Dodge only.
I am lucky the store is within 30 minutes of home and way cheaper than the shipping fee to go get stuff.

Find one and ask would be the thing tp do. Plus really don't care if you like LMC or not as I have yet to have a problem with them.
