Ford cab

97 was transition year for Ford trucks, they redesigned the f150 but they didn't change the 3/4 or 1 ton trucks. I know the bolt locations for the doors and fenders didn't change from 87-96 so you'll be ok with the sheetmetal. I've seen some 87 and 88 fords with a round plug instead of a square plug for the wiring harness bulkhead connector so check that area out when looking for a cab. I would say that a 92-96/97 cab would be the best choice to look for because they didn't change much though those years but if you should find a good 87-91 cab check out the firewall to make sure it matches your 97.
