Hi all,
I have a Dana 60, series 3 Powr-Lok Differential
I would like to sell or trade for a 8 3/4 Clutch type Sure Grip (NOT a cone type Sure Grip)
Asking $250 (OBO, I'M VERY MOTIVATED!) plus shipping from 80526. Unit weight is 41 lbs (add 5 lbs for box and packaging)
I did some shipping estimates. $70.00 to Hallowell Maine 04347, $ 41.00 to Redding CA and Portland OR. I would assume the shipping will be in that range.
As best I can tell it came from a mid 60s Ford Pickup due to the 16 spline axles and the POs recollection.
It has been disassembled, cleaned in mineral sprits and soaked in Evapo-Rust to remove the surface rust from cleaning. Post cleaning it has been stored in Baggies, indoors and in the dry climate of Northern Colorado
Based on conversations with Cass from Dr. Diff and other research it looks to be for 4.10 , 3.73, 3.55 etc gears.
The clutch plates will need replacement as they are heavily scored. The gears look good to me and were shiny prior to staining from Evapo-Rust. The assembly came apart without any force. There was signs of slight surface rust in spots mostly on the cast iron but for the most part it was an oily mess. PO said it had sat in his shed for a long while.
I am happy to supply additional photos or descriptions.
(I have been on FABO for 8 years, same handle)
DID I MENTION I'M VERY MOTIVATED!
