code p 0449

Hi i have a code P0449 and I just replaced the vent solenoid and cleared the code and it came right back any ideas what else could be going on ?

To much or to little resistance or a mechanical problem with the vent valve itself. Could check the mechanical portion of the EVAP vent valve and see if there is a problem.

Check the wiring at the connector and follow it back some, common problem I see with P0449 on GM trucks is a bad wire at the valve or within a foot of it.
