B Block Rear sump oil pan

Do all truck BB oil pas have the Dipstick plumbed into the sump ? I thought i remembered my old 361 years ago having block entry with a tube in the pan that guided the stick to the sump. Thanks Bob

Your 361 was probably in a Sweptline truck 63-71 The 72-78 uses a different pan Bob
