So, I am looking at buying a truck. Preferably regular cab, long-bed, automatic transmission. Does not need to be 4x4. I've been looking for something from the early 2000's. It will be a daily driver, take out occasionally fishing/camping, hauling rocks, wood, tools, and such in the bed, etc. Looking for something with decent gas mileage, reliable and long-lasting engine, and so on. Would prefer not a bunch of bells and whistles. I've been looking at a Chevy Silverado or GMC Sierra around the 2008 year. I know every vehicle has its good and bad years. So, any help is much appreciated.
