I've got the 5 on 5 (or maybe it's more like 5 on 5.5) lug pattern on my 87 D100. I'd like to have the 5 on 4.5 for ease of gear changes. I've got a line on an truck 8.75 so the rear end would be covered. That leaves the front. Is it a matter of swapping rotors or ????

I got a 8.75 Rearemd out of a Imperial that 5 on 5,with backing plates off measure 59.25 inches amd center of perch to perch measures 48.5 inches.This are not exact measurement,it is getting dark here and it is my shed.
I do not follow for ease of gear changes?Did you mean for ease of tire/rim changes and availability?

P.S. I got this rearend to shorten it before I purchased that A=body housing from you.

Would the Imperial 8.75 be out of a 74 or so with the rear disc brakes? I was not really aware Imps came with the the 5 on 5.

for ease of both pumpkin (well that would be gear I guess) and wheel availability. Doesn't appear to be a great selection for a Dodge 5 on 5 that would fit the 87. Guess the stock wheels and dog dishes would be OK

I believe it came out of a 1967,rear drums and shoes are 11"(11x3) ,
and I beleive 67-74 Imperials are all 5 x 5
I would have to re measure it all tomorrow if interested.

Your bolt pattern is 5 x 5.5
1972 til 1984 were 5 on 4 1/2 inches {except for 4 WD}
1985 til 1993 were 5 on 5 1/2 inches
I am still pretty sure the Imperial is 5 x 5 1967-1974

front

Yes, to change the front to 5 on 4-1/2, just get some rotors from a pre '83 truck. I did the same thing on my old 88 Ram Charger when I swapped some Mustang wheels onto it.

I have 5on 41/2-8 3/4 truck rear,5 on 4 1/2 9.25 truck rear 5 on 4 1/2 spindles and rotors,just about any combination you would need.
