I have a slant six with the lean burn ignition and I'd like to remove all the wiring from the truck, how hard of a process is this? and do i have to change out the distributer?

Yep, distributor needs to be replaced with a standard electronic ignition unit if it doesn't have the weights inside. Not sure what carb you need for a slant 6, I'm more familiar with v8's. But it's fairly simple and straightforward. It took me about a half hour to swap the carb and distributor when I did this many years ago.

If you're not on ForABodiesOnly.com, head over there and do two searches (the search feature is whacked and you have to do it twice, I don't know why) for this conversion, plenty of slant 6 users over there, and they've done all kinds of mods, so this one should come up in multiple threads.
