The windshield has laminate between the two pieces of glass. If it was installed correctly it shouldn't be leaking. The water shouldn't seep through the laminate unless it has been punctured in which the laminate is some tough stuff. I bet it started to leak because the urethane has come loose...

I don't know what they did but I believe I would get my money back if they didn't fix it. To reset the ECU you just disconnect the battery over night or touch the battery positive lead to the negative side of the battery. Either way drains all power from the ECU and it will reset. My truck...
