Check your shafts, sounds as though a joint or you have a shaft that lost a balance weight.
Tires with bad belts will not be able to be driven thru to a higher speed and feel better, a shaft out of balance can or a bad joint.
The viper uses a AL D-44, mounting the center section isn't a problem, the axles on the (some) viper being AL half shafts can be shortened along with some of the suspension pieces, otherwise it can be done...
