I've not done it yet, but it looks like I can block out times so no one can rent it when I want to use it. It'll need a little planning ahead. I guess I can block it out last minute if the truck is not rented at that time.

Sorry to hear about you 69 d100 and it crashing. That sucks! Letting people borrow your truck is super risky when you don't go through a company that insures it.

Thanks for the responses. I looked further into it with Fluid Market and it sounds like everything they rent is covered by their insurance. Damages are all covered, and so is towing. There are also smoking fees and fuel fees (for when the truck is not returned full). Tickets and automated tolls...
Great point Paul. It does sound risky. Maybe I'll just do the trailer. That's pretty low risk.
My 2007 Ford F-250 that I'm thinking about renting is not worth too much so it probably not very risky. I would like to get more opinions, anyone else have thoughts.
