The 84 died a few years ago when I hit black ice and put it in a guardrail and into a river near Fort Wayne, Indiana. Replaced it with the 96 I picked up for a few bucks. The 96 is in the shop getting a fuel line leak repair, front end work, and tune up. It did help my daughter and son in law...
Bought this '96 Dodge Ram Crew Cab last summer and it's in pretty solid shape. Needs a new grille, new front bumper parts, and a few minor dings and dents, but all in all it's a pretty good buy for the price. Some interior work, and needs new paint on the hood and roof, but it's an easy fix...
New ball joints, new front end. Steering is sloppy. Truck runs. Drove it from Columbus, Ohio to Dayton. Had to keep the OD button on. Engine lurched and sputtered without. Nothing too scary.
