I believe only the SE trucks got the factory headliner. I had two 78 SE club cabs and both had headliners.

The 9 1/4" rear in my 78 truck had the 5 on 4 1/2" pattern. It is possible that is all you need is a pair of older axles I'm not sure. The van probably has longer tubes or a different spline for all I know but something to check on.
