Thats why have several set of RTs squirreled away. One set of 5 have 30k miles on em, basically brand new. Going to be selling that set to get super lightweight 5 on 4.5's for my 93. Building a road course truck with it.

15 & 16" X 8's look pretty good but I like the 17X9 RTs a bit more. ;-) Little bit of work to get em on and not waste the rim though. Have 16's on my 93 but no pic on my phone..

Looks like you came to the right place, lots of help above. I'm back buying, fixing, modifying and selling 1st gen Daks so I'll be on here more. Will have a nice 95 for sale soon. pic of it last summer, looks a bit different now with new chrome bumper clears up front and fender flares.

Everything 96 and later is OBD2 and has a port just under the dash for any OBD2 scanner. 95 and older is what almost no one has the scanner for anymore. Snapon was the only manufacture of the OBD1 scanner that I'm aware of. I was a Mazda tech when they were out.

Sounds like OBD2 to me. Surprised you couldnt find the code online, its everywhere. Also had no idea you could read the codes by flashes on the dash of the 96. When I had one and it gave me problems I just plugged up my $30 code scanner.

What year Dak? Never tried but pretty sure Mopar car headers won't work. Steering cross member and engine bays are quite different.

You sure it's 96? I wasn't aware you could do the key flip past 95? If for some reason it is OBD1 13 is O2 sensor.

Since 97+ dont bolt in a 87-96 its safe to say vice versa is true.

I have used the Dorman replacements for years without issue. There is a universal kit that has the small bushings and then a specific kit that only has 2 for the big one. I have them in my parts bin but no part numbers, sorry. Yes, you want to use a heavy lithium or moly grease, not petroleum...

Sorry for the late reply, did you land anything? I have seen 87-90 Dak rears on car-part.com for a few hundred bucks. Look for the 90 Sport, a lot of them came with 3.90 sure grip stock. I have a complete truck with one. Another alternative is a E body 8 3/4. Within 1/4 width of a gen 1 Dakota...
