Damage was done. The engine was suspect, we had performed a spray can rebuild when I get the car. While not what I had hoped for, it wasn't totally unexpected.

You can use a new bolt with the old ones. The intake manifold doesn't need a ton of torque to tighten.

Six smaller bolts go on the valley pan rails, front and back of engine. The seven (8 is what you need) bolts are for the intake manifold and the throttle cable/kickdown bracket will go to the back two hole in the intake manifold, no different length between the 8 bolts.
