well that rear bumper and brackets was 53 or 54 thru 72 that i know of . i've got two very bent ones i'm saving for a couple different p/u projects . and i still can't post any size pics on this site !
will i'm not sure of that fitment , but in the late 50's and 60's poly headed v8's uses the same bolt pattern as a la engine , and also /6 had a dual pattern bell housing for la or poly , both mounted to a crossmember .

my w300 has 4.56's in the drives , with had low rpm cummings it would need 44'' tall tires , lol . just to get it to cruz 65 mph on the road , but off road it would be a wall climber .
try and find a cummings core support for that body type before ripping into it , i've been told that's the hardest part to come across . don't know of anyone making those repo . had thoughts of doing the cummings conversion to my 79 w300 , it was my hold up .
what dia size is your clutch disc now , i've got a 79 w300 with a 143 tooth flywheel that uses a 11 inch disc , i've had clutches built before , and for heavy duty clutch material is kevlar , great for high heat and lasts longer than a stock material one . i've also gone to a diaphragm type...
