    1985 Dodge W150 fun!

Damn, they musta changed after 84.......... oops. :bag: There is a spring loaded (kinda) plastic lever tab that locks into the hole. Kind of a one way sort of thing, if you can slide a thin flat probe from the back (out) side it should release the lock tab.

    1985 Dodge W150 fun!

Au Contraire Mon Frere.......... I believe you do indeed have that type terminal although the wire end is coated. The opening seen above is actually below the surface of the connector block you're holding. I think I see the "split" down the length of the terminal which means it is the same...

    motor change out question

Mine was an aluminum case, the weakest version, (still under the bench in the garage). I could likely have done the countershaft rebushing procedure but I had the iron case non o/d available so I just stuck that in, and didn't really notice any big fuel mileage changes but it was more fun to...

    motor change out question

Yeah, it could be the forward mount position, it's been years since I've been under the truck or reviewed any pics, and there is indeed a specific truck mounting plate. The weakness of the o/d transmission is the issue, mine lasted about 2 to 3 years after install although I did exceed...

    motor change out question

A b/e using the rear shifter mount position is an exact swap for the A833 o/d transmission, that's what I have in my old truck. The one I'm using is from a 71 Challenger I think.

    WANTED 15x7 Road Wheels

Wouldn't be the first time I've been wrong and definitely won't be the last! However i'm pretty sure there were some 7" road wheels from the factory but their original application is not something I've researched - and I'd likely forget it by next week if I did.

    WANTED 15x7 Road Wheels

No, most of them are 15x6, the trucks could have 15x7 - or at least so I've been led to believe.

    Parts source

Not so very long ago the dealer still had access to a good number of parts for these trucks also. It helps if you get to know the local parts manager and he/she is a good sort.
