Make some out of heavy rubber or get some for a ford/chevy of that era. I never bought anything from him but, 1961-1971 Cab Mount Set #CM6171SET. I have bought parts from https://www.vintagepowerwagons.com but, I suggest you call. Old school guys. Craig
Someone is going to chime in here that has that setup. The last one I saw was an 87 with /6. Seems it had two bolts on firewall for master, a remote fluid reservoir and the slave on the bell housing. The master pressure tube goes to the slave. They worked very well (B150) nice and smooth but...
After 17 years of good use, I just wanted my dream truck before I retired. Ram with 5.7, regular cab, 4x4, short bed, 3.92, towing pkg and night edition.
Totally agree. That's seems to be the key with the 4.7 (and the 5.7)....oil change! My local service manager said change the oil regularly. My 2002 Dakota 4.7 with 456 gears was always driven hard but, not abused. I used full synthetic, Wix and changed 3-5K. I sold it at 125K no ticks, leaks...
I was at the same place with my /6 and a833 OD. I went with a 440/727 but there are times I wish I would have stuck with the other. Make sure you have low gears with the OD. I think the last truck around 86ish, I had was a 3.55 or 3.73 but, I really don't remember.
$80 plus shipping. This body kit was removed from a 2002 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab. The truck was an automatic with electronic shifter. It is a Performance Accessories DODGE DAKOTA 3” KIT 2000-2002
KIT# PA60043. There’s a few other miscellaneous Dakota parts in the pile. It is heavy but, I’ll ship...

I have a 2019 regular cab 4x4 Ram with towing package and 3.92 gears. I have a 2800 lbs dump trailer loaded 8k. It has no issues pulling or stopping. My buddy has a 2016 5.7 Ram Quad cab and tows his 7.5K loaded weight camper without issue. I think your approaching the max "comfort" level of...
Parts are hard to come by on these trucks. Vintage power wagons online has stuff that fits the Sweptlines. I'm not quite following you though. I bought 1157 sockets to fix my 64. Got it at the local auto parts store. I took the wires and springs out and put them in my sockets. Craig
I used one from a cbody on my 64 D100 because I had it laying around. I think one from bbody or ebody would work. One from a abody maybe. The connection is left rear anyway. You could get a cut to fit from summit or jegs.
I kinda agree with the comments regarding a SB. I used the 440 because that’s what I had available. If I were to do it again, I would have went with a 5.9 with OD. My 2 cents. Craig
What year sweptline? The later 69-71 that came with a BB will bolt right in with correct mounts and engine brackets. The early will probably need a fabricated bracket and mounts. Craig
