I google this and found a thread where someone talked about this, what his service manual for his 67 F100 said was a 240 wanted 20w40 or 30w. I would be comfortable using 15w40, 10w40 or 10w30 in colder temps
Both heater hoses are hot, one is not cold? The blend door motor is on the bottom of the heater case on the passenger side. Take a light and watch the motor while turning the knob, you should be able to see the shaft turning. If it is, remove the motor to see if the bottom of the door isn't broke.
