    Dodge truck rear axles

I think that you mean scraPPing, not scraping. You could save the axle and harvest the gears and differential out of it.

We have all heard of Cars and Coffee but how about......

Mopars and Mimosas ? Who is with me ?? Some people aren't coffee drinkers.... Others like me don't like to get up early....How about a non judged show-and-shine that starts around 11:00 with booze shacks set up for those that wish to imbibe ? This might bring in the chicks !

Are you sure it is not a "Spicer" and not a Spiker? I know that Dana and Spicer had a business partnership for awhile.

    Dodge truck rear axles

Thank you, Mark. I am pretty sure that I've seen 8 lug 9 1/4" axles in the lighter duty 3/4 tons prior to the changeover in 1994. I have no pictures or legitimate proof, I just recall seeing them when I was looking for parts for my 74 Camper 9000. That truck was a heavy duty rig. It had a dana...

    Dodge truck rear axles

Maybe the dude was posting from a phone and didn't look his post over before submitting? I make the majority of my errors when doing that. Tiny screen, tiny buttons and 59 year old eyes! When I go back and see my spelling errors, I immediately correct them.

Put a tape measure on the ring gear if you're willing to disassemble the axle!

    Dodge truck rear axles

There are references to an 8 3/8" axle in the factory service manuals. They are the same as the 8 1/4" axle but for some reason, they called them 8 3/8" in the trucks. I've still never seen one of them behind a 440.

    Dodge truck rear axles

I'm a bit curious about the rear axles used in Dodge trucks from say....1970 until the early 90s. Out here in California, I've owned several of these as well as being a junkyard crawler for years. It has been my experience that the 9 1/4" rear axle has been the most common unit used in the 1/2...

Is anyone having trouble accessing FABO or FBBO ?

The sites have been inaccessible for me for the past 2 hours. On the phone, I get the "Safari cannot load due to too many redirects" whatever the heck that means. On the home computer, it gives another error message. Thanks

Have you ever had to let a friend go?

More funny shit! I don't see these guys as inferior, just inconsiderate. My eternal optimist mindset has me thinking that one day, maybe they will get the hint and act right.

Have you ever had to let a friend go?

I absolutely hate that crap. I have noticed something and while it is not scientific, it seems to be a common trait: The men that seem to be the least likely to show consideration for others are often "seasoned" bachelors. Yeah, you're reading that right. Men that have never been married and are...

Have you ever had to let a friend go?

THAT is some funny shit....when someone is so arrogant and confident yet a complete hypocrite!

    75 Power Wagon starter relay

Oh, I agree. There are some people that are so irritating in how they make their point, you often find it better to seek advice elsewhere.

    75 Power Wagon starter relay

Thanks. If that is by who I think it is, (Same GTX screen name as seen on FBBO) while he seems intelligent, he is an extremely abrasive person.

    75 Power Wagon starter relay

I wasn't blaming anyone but it is worth mentioning that to expect a 50 year old vehicle that has had multiple owners to be 100% stock and unmodified is an unrealistic thing. These trucks were not luxury vehicles, they were work trucks that usually spent the majority of their time parked...

    75 Power Wagon starter relay

I need to make a correction of a mistake I had in my last post above. The yellow wire does not get grounded. Here is the relay in my Charger: The arrows there point to the two terminals that I bridge across to start a vehicle when turning the key does not work. This bypasses the function of...

WANTED 360 Engine ISO California or within driving distance

While I didn't mean to offend, I don't think I was wrong. A slant six in a 4500 lb truck is going to be a slug. You won't be able to tow much or haul much unless you always on level ground with no traffic around you. If you try to tow a load that the suspension can handle, the slant six won't...
