I had a friend that is a transmission expert do the work. I can get a part # and where he ordered it from if you need me to. It’s in the transmission pan like where the valve body is located. It’s pretty big, you can’t miss it. It’s like 7”x7”. There is 2 filters also. Not sure why but one of my...

Two new filters and fluid and module and gasket and I was back on the road.

Update Found the problem. Turned out to be a module in the transmission pan. The module was defected and it was causing the torque converter to lock up and stall the engine. Hope this helps someone else that experience this problem.

That’s what I’m thinking. If I pull the transmission for a torque converter I might as well have the transmission rebuilt. Crap.

I can feel it is what I’m trying to say. It’s not a smooth cut off.

Yep, more of a loss of power stumble

It comes and goes. Won’t do it for a day or two and then two to three times a day. It kinda stumble’s right when it’s going to shut off. Very weird.

I have been told this by someone else that owns a Ram. He had the same issue. Thanks for replying.
