Save the aerosol cans for the kids toys.
The right way to stop rust on those parts is blasting to remove the rust and applying 2 coats automotive epoxy. You can brush or roll it if ya have to.
Anything else is merely a band-aid fix.
Second choice would be sand paper, wire wheels, picklex 20...
One coil on that truck. Prob not the coil.
I bought a code scanner yrs ago that reads and erases codes. Take it to Autozone and have it erased. If it misses or the code comes back might wanna go with a quality set of wires along with a new dist cap and rotor button.
