Looking for a header that will fit my 1987 d150 . Have a 360 with trick flow heads powersteering mini starter and automatic floor shit . I'm wanting 1-3/4 or 1
-7/8 primarys would even do a step header 3" collector I'm having a heck of time finding something? Wondering if anyone has done this and has part numbers 🤔. Any help would be greatly appreciated👏

I did a similar mod to a 90 D-150 I had back in 1990. Basically, all stock internals. I would say if the Trick Flow heads were the only thing you've done to hop-up the engine, 1-3/4" headers & true duals (Full Lenth headers! Don't waste your time & money on shorty headers, not worth the aggravation & power gains) will be enough. If the compression is bumped up to say 10.1 to 1 or higher & you have some other internal mods, then go with the 1-7/8", otherwise, it will kill off some bottom-end torque. Step headers are pretty good too. Sorry I don't have part #s for you. Buy good header though. TTI may have what you want. Just my 2cents.

Thank you yeah i just can't find anything that will fit easily into the truck . I dont mind having to do some grinding and bending to get them to fit. And it's full roller motor and sitting at 10:1:1. Has Hughes hydraulic roller cam i can't rember specs off top of my head. I know gross lift at exaust is around .571 and intake was .565

I know they are expensive, but buy TTI headers. They will fit your truck with NO modifications & they are very good headers. I think they only make MOPAR exhaust systems. You will probably want to go with the 1-7/8" primary tubes with the combo you have. Sounds pretty healthy.

With that cam and 10:1 compression I'd definitely go with the 1-7/8" primaries, TTI makes good stuff but yeah they're pricey - might also check Hooker or Hedman if you're on a budget and don't mind some fitment work.
