I'm looking for a replacement vent tube for my 73 W100 with AC. It's looking like they aren't made anymore or remanufactured, so I was wondering if a piece of heater hose and a few hose clamps would work. Anybody ever ran into this issue before? Thanks guys!

Are you talking the flexible one (first picture) or the hard plastic one (second picture)? Both of these are from 73 Dodge
That's a good question; both look like they would do the trick. My truck didn't have one when I bought it, and I'm in the process of redoing the AC and heating system on my truck. Most of what I've seen looking through engine bay photos online looks like the second picture.

The hard plastic one (second picture) hooks into a hole in the firewall, the other slides over a short metal stub.
