I noticed some big block shorty headers on eBay for under $200 and wondering if anyone is running these on your BB trucks?

I got a set of the cheapo no name stainless SB headers a while back off of CL brand new in the box for $25, I ended up giving those to my kid for one of his projects. I'm not a fan of China made but for $25 I wasn't out much. I do like the thickness of the flange. So far so good with that set. Recently I got a complete (not very) used complete local muffler shop exhaust off of market place a few miles away from me that includes a set of these same headers, at least to start with, I want to try to modify the pipes a bit to fit my truck to get it running, broken in etc and then to the exhaust shop myself if need be... The exhaust setup i got was off of a later 90s truck, don't know if it was reg cab or extended cab, mine is 80s reg cab longbed that I'm putting a carbureted magnum 360 into with NV4500.

I also have a set of well used, (?) Hooker shorties (has welded tag but id have to throw them in the blast cabinet to clean up to ID) old enough to have had an egr provision (that someone plug welded shut) and I believe they got dropped, the flange on one of them where the pipe would bolt to is bent, not sure if fixable or not...

Yes, you can find big block shorty headers on eBay for under \$200. Many sellers offer headers for BBC 396, 402, 427, 454, and 502 engines. Prices typically range from \$140 to \$170, with free shipping and returns available from top-rated sellers.

Some buyers have reported good experiences with these headers. For instance, one reviewer mentioned that the headers fit perfectly, looked great, and provided noticeable power gains. Another buyer noted that the headers bolted right up to their midpipe without any issues.

However, quality can vary. Some users have observed that the headers may not offer the best airflow compared to higher-end brands. Additionally, there have been reports of damaged gaskets upon arrival.

If you're considering these headers, ensure they match your engine specifications and vehicle setup. It's also advisable to check seller ratings and reviews to gauge product quality and customer satisfaction.
Is this a copy and paste reply from Grougle or.....??
