Hello to all,
Any help would be appreciated. I have a 2008 Hemi Ram 4WD with 208000 miles on her. I have never had any work done on the suspension, she hasn't been neglected just haven't needed it . Except rotors, brakes and tires. I have noticed over the last couple weeks I have this vibration in the gas pedal at around 30 mph smooths out above that except when i get into a good curve, right or left makes no difference. I have read a few forums that suggest that being drive by wire, that it is vibration from the engine or transmission resonating through the firewall / floor pan, that it could be the mounts. I'm getting ready to start rebuilding the front end and checking over everything. Any suggestions on what to look for? The plans on the suspension rebuild is pretty straight forward, replace everything with new parts with the miles I have on her. And something with grease fittings lol.
Thanks,
Michael

I call myself looking at them and have rotated fronts to the back and still no difference. I know it's due for some tires as well. Thanks for the info. Maybe I will catch the culprit when tearing down the suspension..

I had something like this on my truck. The vibration in the pedal was from worn front end parts. Check the ball joints, tie rods, and control arm bushings. Also look at the driveshaft and U-joints. Bad motor or transmission mounts can also cause a vibration. Since you plan to rebuild the suspension, replacing all of those parts is a good step. After that, if the vibration is still there, check the mounts. An alignment after the rebuild will also help.
Eight year old post. I know some of us are slow. Oriiginal poster hasn't be here in seven years.
He either fixed it snd didn't come back or just doesn't like us.
