Been fighting this truck for weeks.it starts then dies instantly. Can't read codes odb says can't connect. Changed ignition, fuel pump etc. Repaired frayed wires,still no go
Hooked up noid light no power at injectors. Finally found the splice pack 207, removed it and it starts and runs. Still no connection for scanner. I'm at wits end. Can I just leave the splice block out and move on. Everything is working at this point.
 
Only way your going to fix it without spending a lot of time would be finding a wiring diagram and a FSM. Other wise your just operating blind.

Something in sp207 could be crashing all the modules, that is why it starts when it's removed. You can remove sp205 and then jumper pin B to pin D and see if the PCM will then communicate
