Your bolt pattern is 5 x 5.5 1972 til 1984 were 5 on 4 1/2 inches {except for 4 WD} 1985 til 1993 were 5 on 5 1/2 inches I am still pretty sure the Imperial is 5 x 5 1967-1974

I believe it came out of a 1967,rear drums and shoes are 11"(11x3) , and I beleive 67-74 Imperials are all 5 x 5 I would have to re measure it all tomorrow if interested. TXTruck

I got a 8.75 Rearemd out of a Imperial that 5 on 5,with backing plates off measure 59.25 inches amd center of perch to perch measures 48.5 inches.This are not exact measurement,it is getting dark here and it is my shed. I do not follow for ease of gear changes?Did you mean for ease of tire/rim...
