Boooo for leaky engines! I understand how you feel on wanting your truck running. I can't recall, but isn't your 440 pretty close to ready? And did you read the part I put above about a double diaphragm reduced diameter booster--or did you already buy one for your truck?

I can't say with any certainty, but I *think* the rear disc brakes off a newer Jeep will bolt on to a 9 1/4...I might have to do some looking. Apart from that--yes, drums are very little on the fun factor. But, since you have the correct tools, that takes out a great deal of the frustration...

You'd probably get quicker, more direct responses if you created your own thread... But, have you checked the local parts stores and salvage yards? If you're in the DFW area, there's probably a few dozen of them outside the 820 loop.

Oil pan, engine mounts, exhaust, maybe driveshaft if the tailshaft is the wrong length, but I wasn't aware of the brake booster. I take it the stock one is too big around?
