That was for 4 hours to remove and clean the existing intake. I looked at starting it last night and right now my time is more valuable so I’m having the shop do it. Not use to working in and around the spaghetti mess of wires and hoses.

I’m here in California, took the 85 ram charger down for smog and failed. Apparently the port on the intake where the EGR valve goes is totally clogged with carbon. They just called and said they want to take the intake off in order to clean it out properly. I’m wondering how difficult this is...

Finally landed my truck. After a couple others fell through I found my diamond. 1985 Ramcharger Royal SE 150 Prosecutor 4x4. New 411 gears, all new mechanical. Zero rust. 360 quadra jet.

I’ll pass. I’ll get the truck the way it is and start there. After doing some research I also read that there is quite a bit of modification to do for the engine to be able to even except that much air in fuel.

I wonder what shipping on that would be? I am down in Temecula. Is it heavy? It’s hard to see in the picture but I assume it’s in good condition and would seal up OK.
