Man this forum section is really slow, where is everyone ?????

"Back in the day" a buddy and I finished an engine/tranny install in his gen 1 dart convertible on thurs night and left the next morning for an Indianapolis to Sioux City trip for his Saturday wedding. Now that I'm 70, a cross country trip in an unknown vehicle isn't quite as much of an...

Saw it. looked interesting. Especially w 4-spd. California to Ga is a little too far for me.

I'm just as guilty. Playing on FABO and my 67 Dart. But the Shelby Dak has been the one going to the local shows. Finally got the original wheels refurbished and back on it. Been looking around my area for D100/150/Ram for a nice daily driver w a/c. I drive the Shelby a lot but cant bring myself...

    D100 Turbo Pet Project

@7mopar I am still using the instrument cluster and dash wiring. The 89 cluster was still all analog with ground control routed thru the ECU on the temp sensor and a/c evap sensor. I do have a spare ECU but I'm not sure that it would help you with anything unless you are going to use the...

Its on my 89, but that was the intent to duplicate the functionality without the ECU. Removing the ECU is a real challenge since it controls the fuel pump, safety switches, some trans functions, charcoal purge controls and AC cycling.

    D100 Turbo Pet Project

As a follow up to the vac control issue. I had installed the pressure switches and a master vac sw according to the PATC instructions. The pressure switches did keep the LU & OD from coming on below 45mph but at road speed the vac change due to the lockup release was interfering with the OD...

    D100 Turbo Pet Project

I installed this layout on my Shelby Dakota. In theory it should work, but be aware that it is a real pain to dial in and use. The layout is suuuuper sensitive to vacuum changes. Both up and down throttle. I have been thru 3 sets of pressure switches and hours of "drive-stop-adjust-repeat". I...

    motor swap

To expand on scoots info. 87-89 can be a challenge due to 2" shorter front. No room for mech fan. Dual slimline 12" pushers can be used but must fit between rad and a/c condenser (if a/c equipped). 91 and beyond is much simpler. Assuming 318LA. Here are some additional things to consider. These...
