As for a "kit" I would say you are highly over estimating the size of the marketplace.

That is a correct bed - they were painted from the factory the same color as the truck AND the wood in the floor was actually pine so most rotted out within a few years and you have what we you normally see today - nice clear coated oak beds with painted or polished ss strips

I would think these would work - Gas Tank Straps - 1977 - 79 truck 18 gallon tank
Also for the filler neck just get a flexible fuel line from gates - I live near water and the marine supply houses normally carry it.
