    84 d 150 , lowered , rear shocks?

OK yea, If you lower it you can't change the distance between the axle and bump stop or the axle will hit the frame, only thing you can do is put air shocks on like you said or stiffer leaf springs to keep it from bottoming out. The greater the angle the less effective the shock is. Lets say...

    84 d 150 , lowered , rear shocks?

Does it really matter? Unless you moved the bumpstops up, the suspension will still bottom out on the bumpstop before the shocks. My truck an 85 D-150 is a stock height still and I'm running Bilsteins for a Ramcharger, in the rear part #: 24-018296...

Fuel Injection 101, In-Tank Fuel Pump

Figured there might be some interest in this since there are more of these Self Learning Fuel Injection Systems coming on the market. My truck is a 1985 D-150, Its got a mild build 383 in it, Mopar Performance Solid Lifter Cam, 906 heads ported with Mopar templates, 9.8:1 compression ratio...

    84 2wd short box, 518?? with a 440??

Take some pictures when you get it and the instal. I would be interested in seeing those. Do you have any mpg figures with your setup now? I would also be curious to see how much fuel savings you see after the instal. I think the GV OD is the best way to go. There are some places that will cut...

    84 2wd, short box, 440 header recommendation

I know what your talkin about when you say check for spark plug clearance. All but 2 of the spark plugs were good with my Hooker Headers. 2 were close but I thought they would be OK, since I had wrapped the headers. But I burned thru one boot and the other was a little blistered. So ended up...

    84 2wd short box, 518?? with a 440??

Have you considered keeping your 727 and putting a Gear Vendors Overdrive on it. That is what I plan to do with my Barracuda when I get the Big Block in it. Nevermind finished reading your original post. Did they make non-lock up 518s? There isn't as much out there for torque converters for...

1991 thru 1993 Dodge Truck Fuel System?

Are all the engine options Multiport Fuel Injected for these years? Do these years have a return style fuel system that there is a pressure regulator mounted on the fuel rail; or is it returnless with the regulator mounted on the sending unit in the fuel tank?

    1985 Ram Project

That trim is Stainless Steel. I got them from the junkyard when I was going to put it on. Then sold it when I went this route.

    1985 Ram Project

The arm rest is almost 10" long and 3" tall, they come out from the door panel 2". I'm going to get a little off track but I will answer your question, lol. So with the 833 OD I wanted to make it shift as smooth as possible, so I wanted to ditch the lever & interlock side cover and swap in the...

    1985 Ram Project

Thank you all for the compliments. Going to try and fire it up today. They are billet one from LMC. That is the look I was going for. I didn't want to have any chrome on the outside, and just a couple of piece on the inside.

    1985 Ram Project

The screws for the armrest screw into the inner structure of the door, the door panel is sandwiched in-between them. I used rivet nuts, hopefully this will be a little stronger.
