    Map light on a 93 D series.

Thank you sir. I did get it figured out. I had hooked up the yellow and pink wires wrong. Now trying to figure out if I want to put in the original cargo light (have to cut the cab) or get a modern style with a brake light. Just working on it when I can and enjoying driving it. It’s evolving...

Ours have dropped, 60’s in the morning, 80’s 90’s during the day. Supposed to hit 100’s , end of the week, then it should be good for a while.

I don’t remember how many records we broke this year but, we had a 113 consecutive days over a 100. The previous record was, 76, in 1993. We also had, 61 days, at 110, or above. I’ve seen 100 days without rain, a few years, since I’ve been here. I have never minded the heat, my guys used to give...

From what they’re saying, the 100’s could be gone for a while. We smashed all kinds of records this year. Who knows what Mother Nature will do?

You are quite welcome sir! When you love what you do, it ain’t work. I’ve been a lucky man, doing what I do for 44 years, and loving every minute of it. Before I moved here, 8 years ago, this coming November, everyone was asking, are you going to retire? Heck no, I’m starting the business again...

That’s my plan, keep doing what I’m doing, till they carry me out. You’ve got 8 years on me, keep on keeping on and enjoy yourself! Take care!

Heck, we have been smashing records with the heat. First time ever, temperatures hit 110, in October and not just once. The highs will be just above 100, through next Sunday. I don’t kick but, a lot of people do.

    Ciao from Apache Junction AZ

While we were in Gold Canyon, Friday morning, we could see a smoke towards the top on the west side. We haven’t seen any choppers or planes, coming in from our side. Hopefully if we get the rain we’re expecting, it will help the cause. That’s over 23 sq. miles, it spreads fast here. Take care...

    Anyone tried

I didn’t know, actually. Every big block I ever owned, had the correct transmission. Had it built for the application and was done. I saw the price. $1200 for the adapter, plus having the transmission built to handle it. Why would anyone do that? I’m sure a good core could be found and rebuilt...

    Ciao from Apache Junction AZ

I like Apache Junction. We’ve done quite a bit of work there. I hope you’re no where near the fire! We’re working in Gold Canyon and the smoke is very visible.

    Anyone tried

The trans won’t bolt up. You need a big block specific trans. The last year was 1978.
