Sorry if I duplicated this engine pic. Fine tuning suspension with Competition Engineering adjustable shocks, ladder bars, and 3 degree shims for pinion angle. Then install the Mickey Thompson 10.6" SS Drag Radials sitting on matching 10" Ion wheels and .... goin' racin'!
No, no tease … 535 Ft Lbs of torque for 8K through ATK High Performance Engines. Feels like my last 440 built by Hughes Engines and freshened by Ray Barton but had iron heads so weight now 430 with SB instead of almost 700Lbs. Lookin' for high 11's again. I'll send pics.
Nice! … this one is my 4th of this style all big blocks but this one. Had an 86' off white short bed stepside like yours with a 440 and all original. Guess I shouldn't have let that one get away but coming down here and boat weather all year the boat won out.
Hi gdrill! …. must be Dodge territory up there. Can't find older ones surprisingly in SW Florida (except mine) LOL. Wanted a short bed myself but after installing a rear roll pan taking the chrome step bumper off and having a roll pan fabricated for the front I have about the same overall length...
Wish I could to help you out. Left New Joisey about 10 years ago to escape that sort of thing. Sad about E-Town. Went to all the Mopar events, domestic vs foreign and bracket raced every Sunday for years. Getting hot here with temps in the mid 80's all week. Probably shouldn't have gone there...
