1950 Fargo 1/2 ton.

hello all. New to the forum. I'm presently restoring a 1950 Fargo (dodge) half ton and nearing completion. My question is that the truck originally came with 6.00x16 tires. What is a good modern tire size that is similar in size for this vehicle. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Thanks jeff

maybe a 215 or 225 16'' tire , those rims are about 5'' wide , and height will be a factor .

I have the rim blasted and pained, interior kit, tires, tailgate left to do. A few other small stuff...
