I have an '85 D-150, On the pick up trucks do the cupped washers cup the rubber bushing or is it the other way around like the 60's-70's cars? I have an FSM but its hard to tell in those pictures.

How do you remove these from the column without a key? I finally found a manual trans steering column and I want to swap the cylinder from my auto column to the manual. Since I got it from the junkyard I don't have a key.

Has anyone found replacement bushings for the sway bar endlinks, where they clamp around the strut rods?

How do you get the sending unit out of the tank? Is there a special tool to fit over the retainer that screws into the tank? I tried tapping it with a punch, but no luck so far.
