That is sweet! I'm still waiting for my buddy to get around to fixing a door for me so I can start the '70s sheet metal swap. In a couple weeks it'll be a year. I've tried to bring it home a few times but he promises to get it done. Enough is enough, time to get it and fix it as best I can.
glad you're getting it figured out. But as far as dicounting two bad new parts in a row....when I worked at the IH dealer parts dept., we handled Delco Remy starters and altornaters. We used to go thru stacks of them just to find one good one. So it does happen.
Good passenger fender, some surface rust. $100
Driver's fender some rust thru above wheel opening $50
Good Drivers door, solid, someone had added the lower molding clips with screws $100
Passenger door, same molding clips held on with screws, bottom lip needs some work $75
