Thanks a lot for the help though, it's running like a champ now, I'll let you guys know how it is after I change the heads and intake. Thinking that will bring me up to just over 425 horse to the motor
Took a good look drained oil and filter and ran a magnet around to pick any loose steel up, runs like a champ again, and surprisingly it didn't feel like it was running rough just felt like a cam.
Well I found out what was wrong, motor was running on 7 cylinders, check the picture out will explain everything. Still changing the manifold out to the dual plane.
Yes I will I just ordered it gonna take about two weeks to come in. Damn American dollar put me to 400$ Canadian plus gaskets. I'm also going to put edelbrock rpm heads on as well 63cc should make a huge difference
Yes 36 vacuum advance unhooked. It advances too much so I unhooked it 55 all in hooked up is too much I couldn't turn it down to 50 without cutting out initial timing
Cam is 2000-6800 rpm the single plane intake I have is 3500-7500 so I'm going to go with a weiand stealth idle to 6800. My idle rpm is around 850 in gear, timing goes full advance around 2700 rpm. I thinking going with the dual plane will be a lot better considering my 2500 torque converter with...
My timing is set at 18 initial and 36 total vacuum advance unhooked, I can't adjust my advance in the canister worth crap if it's hooked up like this it will read 55 total timing. I'm using a strip dominator intake, I did a little reading and found it is a 3500-7000 range. So I'm thinking an...
