Good question. I sold a 97 ram extended cab complete, running, driving, rust free from Texas for $700 minus the transmission, head and taillights, turn signals and antenna. I gave it away, the guy bought it for the box. Which is the only reference I know of. Up here in Minnesota, we get between $500-800 for a rust free box. A bare can could go for as cheap as $350. Doors, $50-75 and up. I'm just guessing, but I'd think you could find something for around $500, if you can find a truck that old laying around, not covered in pine needles. Might be a long shot, but you can always try car-part.com and check the local yards, at least the ones that are online.
