Wife was driving the Dakota the other day and the wipers quit working - it was raining of course. Did a quick check and sounds like the wiper motor is working so I'm thinking it's gotta be the bushing on the arm to the motor. Anyone did one on a Dakota and if so what am I looking at doing it?

its really easy.take wiper arms off, remove cowl.under the cowl, there is a piece of black plastic that has to be removed.then u can get to the linkage.usually,a pair of channel locks,n flat head screwdriver will get the job done.parts stores usually have a package of assorted bushings.i think there isthree bushings total.my recomendation.if one broke, replace the others while u r n there.sometimes w the limited space, they r a little hard to get all snapped back together, use a little grease or penetrating fluid.
