Weatherstripping question

Installing the Windows and New weatherstripping in the 79 today (hopefully) but While I know there is some type of glue you put on the weatherstrip itself to keep it in place, Im not sure what it is. There are so many different kinds out there that I dont know what to run to town and buy. Anyone know?
