Some of You may remember my Rampage
It's been 3 years....

While trying to haul big truck payloads
I broke the unibody, and the fuel tank had pin holes
It had been my parts chaser for many years, no rust
and hated to part it out.
Well it finally is at the front on the line, after getting pushed back so many times

I even got it wired up, fuel and trans lines
got to finally hear the aluminum rod 446 come to life, feeding it E-85
wow,spins up like a 340

body is mounted to the Art Morrison chassis
will be getting the Shelby front clip attached tomorrow

Then move on to finishing the sheet metal work

That think is sick! Won't take long to get those parts now, what a difference a chassis makes!

Run no-box pro class
sets to low, might get hung up on a man hole cover (3 1/2" ground clearance)
no place to haul parts anymore....lol

Back tires do get closed in? Without it that would be one smokey ride with tire particals all over the place.

all tires are isolated from the driver
cockpit area WILL be sealed from smoke.

Am building templates now, to enclose the driver.
the floor/drive shaft enclose, and rear firewall is made of Stainless steel.
front and side is alum. sheet,

What grownups will build for toys and entertainment. At 3-1/2" its not much closer to the ground than a Vet. It would be way to tempting to put it on the street.

My white 4 door was my street car, but it rattled to many windows,> retired it to the track.
I enjoy car cruises, so I pulled the 540 from the Satellite
(drag only)
replaced it with a Cummins.

Then detuned the 540 and put it in the 72 Swinger with a 518 trans, for a cruiser, waiting on weather, to paint the car ( to much rain right now)

I just thought about the Hauler for the Rampage
it need wiring and fuel line run, then paint theme to match the Rampage.

It's next in line, it had a " little rust" issues to give attention to first,
while changing the drivetrain to CTD, 5 speed

married a 92 Club Cab to the 73 crew cab

got rid of the radiator support since the radiator doesn't need it.
save 11 lbs by building a removable front clip support .

came out nice, as according to the blue print> well the idea was on blue paper....

will add brackets to the headlight buckets, radiator, and hood pins

What do you figure the car weighs currently, and final weight?
I won't know until I scale it, It does roll really easy.
I don't have many items left to add to it.
just a little more interior sheet metal, headlights and a pro glass windshield

Dodge Rampage - Wikipedia

curb weight of around 2,400 lb

The truck had a load capacity of 1,145 lb (519 kg), for a true "half ton" rating.

There was a "Shelby Rampage" built by Chrysler/Shelby engineers in their free time for Carroll Shelby, but there is no official record of the existence of such a vehicle.

update
got all the panels aligned, time to start
re- checking all bolts, welds, fluids, etc.
Time to fire up the waste oil heater, get some sheet metal work done
