Serpentine belt conversion

Good morning I was wondering if anybody has used the serpentine drive belt set up from later model ram trucks on earlier model engines. Such as 1996 on 1987 5.9L. I have both set ups but i would prefer the later model just for simplicity with one belt versus the old set up with 3 belts.

I have looked at it. The big obstacles are the way accessories are mounted and cost of replacing all of them. I decided the change to one belt was not worth the effort and cost. To me anyway. I did determine the water pump housing also needs to be replace. The serpentine system reverses the water pump rotation. The new housing do not have the fuel pump mounting. As simple as it would appear it would get expensive real fast.
