Hi all. I am re-plumbing all brake lines on my 79 Adventurer, 2WD, 8 ft bed, 318, 10 bolt 8.375 rear...and I see that the rear axle vent bolt is missing...anyone know where to get a replacement? Torque King 4x4 has one but they say the applications for QU11116 (their part number) are for d/w200 – d/w300 for Dana 60/70.

Anyone know more about these? Puzzles me whjy they'd be different across models...thoughts or direction anyone?

Thanks in advance.

4 wheel drive axles have a vent tube that vents the axles at the cross member in the frame. Supposedly above a safe water line. 2 wheel drive axles get a basic bolt with a cap nipple on them.
Not sure if the bolt diameter is different.

Thanks...I’ve deduced that 7/16-20 is the size for all types....with hose and without...mine is a 2wd so I’ll get the capped version ...tHanks again for your assist.
