A secondary battery would be a good idea if they're used often, but mount anywhere you feel like drilling holes. Light bars are a good idea.

One pair of lights won't give your electrical system any grief unless it's borderline to begin with. I run a lot of lights and have not upgraded the alternator or the battery. It's just a matter of not running all of them too long, or run them with too many other electrical accessories at the same time. This isn't the only vehicle I have done this to either. I put a high output alternator on my road Focus and it turned out I didn't need it.
