Hey everyone mine name is Dennis, I have a 1978 Dodge d100 I'm working on! I figured I'd sign up and see whats going on in the truck world

Prospect, Right now I'm just trimming everything out in semi-gloss black....After I get it ready I'm thinking the two-tone green but I'm not sure yet...lol Yes 85 Rusty it is lowered....I think it about 4-5" in front and maybe 6" in the back...I bought it lowered so I'm not sure....Thats the only thing done to it when I got it, other than that it's all original

Welcome to the site "Crazymoparman" ! Nice 78 ! And it looks like you have the royal package to boot ! Are you going to re hook up the A/C and such ? It should look good semi gloss black .

I like the fancy interior. The steering wheel, it looks exactly like the '72 or '74 Duster steering wheel I put in the '74 D300 when I converted it to power steering. Were they still using that wheel in the '78 trucks? I replaced the larger diameter OEM wheel because with power steering I didn't need the extra mechanical advantage, it gave me more leg room and the old horn button was busted. It broke in 1980 when I hit the horn....at -20F. The cold made the plastic pretty brittle. The seat vinyl cracked at the same time when I set down.
