Hello,
I just purchased a 1960 D100 from the third owner. It hasn't been on the road in over thirty years. I am looking to getting it running well enough to be able to ship to my cousin who is going to restore it. He has quite a track record with Mopars so this is right up his alley.
The vehicle was originally a 6 cyl. A 318 poly has been installed but is not running. The original 3 speed standard is out. There is no exhaust system and no brakes.
The clutch plate has been baked in the AZ sun for decades.
I am looking to rebuild the master cylinders replace the wheel cylinders and slave cyl. along with the clutch plate. I also am looking for a driveshaft.
My first question is what years is this truck compatible with?

Thanks in advance for your time.

That's absolutely beautiful!!!! I immediately fell in live with that color!

Still loooking for info about compatibility. Do parts interchange with the sweptline series? I need a driveline.

The 54-60 trucks are the same "era," and many parts are interchangeable from those years. Here is a list of venders from my website that will be useful to you when looking for parts. If your just looking to ship it to your cousin and it has not trans or brakes, just winch in on a trailer and have it shipped. Good luck, the 60's are cool looking trucks!

1960 Dodge type

The 57 - 60 dodge trucks are pretty similar, Much change in style and body types after 1960, except for the stepsides. 59 and 60 are pretty identical trucks. The 1959 Dodge was first year for non-stepside trucks (except for the Sweptside usinig the station wagon body) and that bed used in 59/60 was sold to Studebaker to use. Totally different bed sides in 61 and on. Mechanically, though, the trucks remained similar. I have a 1959 D100 and a 1960 W200 4x4 - still looking for the front hood emblem for the 1960 truck.
